OUR PRODUCTION IS SUSTAINABLE

We minimize our water consumption

Discover more about our dry factor in Burgos, Spain. Why do we say dry? Because following the principle of circular economy, it has a closed circuit of reused water. That means that in the production process we only use fresh water as raw material and for human consumption.

How do we do it?

All waste is reused thanks to innovative recycling processes with nanofiltration and reverse osmosis.

Sustainable packaging

One of the biggest problems facing our world today is plastic pollution. Therefore, we use a process called "light weighting" that helps us minimise the amount of plastic needed in our packaging.

How do we do it?

But we not only want to reduce the consumption of virgin plastic, we also want to help reduce the existing plastic on our planet. Therefore, at Biolage we use plastic containers up to 100% recycled and recyclable, thus helping to combat the global plastic crisis that we are facing.

No to waste

How do we do it?

We give you an example: the quinoa shell from Bolivia that we use in our formulas. That shell protects the quinoa grain, and is removed before consuming it. If we didn't use it, it would be wasted. Therefore, by including it in our formulas we help both local Bolivian farmers and the environment.
